Fiddle Leaf Fig

The Fiddle Leaf Fig is a simplistic and modern tropical plant that can grow 4-5 feet tall. It's large green leaves pair well with neutral colors and is a great addition to any blank space. Native to western Africa, Fiddle Leaf's prefer bright, indirect sunlight and are best planted in a large ground pot with plenty of room above. 

Difficulty: Medium

Light: Bright indirect light. They can even tolerate some direct sun but will deteriorate in low light areas. 

Water: Moderate. Keep soil moist but ensure not to overwater. 

Pet Friendly: Toxic to dogs and cats if ingested. 

Care Instructions:

Bright, indirect light and proper watering are the most important steps to keep your Fiddle Leaf Fig happy. Water your Fiddle when the top few inches become dry. Overwatering will lead to the plant dropping its leaves and underwatering will result in wilting. If you live in a dry climate (<30% humidity) it is recommended that you place a humidifier near your plant. Additionally, to wash out salt, it is recommended that you flush the soil every few months.
